Not remembering dog commands clearly in her sleepy condition, she told him "down" instead of "off". He was more than willing to oblige. I took this photo the next morning. Nobody in the family would have believed Mom slept with a dog otherwise!
Wow, that looks so familiar! My Dane sleeps in the tiny AS bed with me too.

Thanks for resurrecting this old thread Julianne. I haven't seen this one before. I love a good dog thread, especially when there's pics! Here is my favorite AS dog, my good buddy Moose...taken by the light of the fire dancer in front of the AS.

Moose!

Look at your sweet baby! My dogs love the Airstream as much as I do! For a long time I thought oh too much work to take all 3, oh no not the case. They are the perfect companions on the road. I moved from Seattle to Surprise, AZ so I had no choice but to hit the road with them and so glad I did. I swear everytime we hit the road I learn something new about myself and them. There is no place we can't go! And kids in RV Parks just love them, often find someone's young one snuggled up next to one of my "kids" who tolerate it cause they are so tired from all the activity. I am one lucky lady.

Annie & Sadie

Well, I can't resist the chance to show off our Girls...Cockers...Annie is the black one, and Sadie is the blondie... You wouldn't think of them as camping dogs, but they love it, and they are like little mountain goats with we take them on a hike...and keep up with the best of them... We even give them "camper cuts"...

They do have the look of, "Oh, look! There's food!" Always ready to eat.

Thanks, Julianne... When it cools off, you should explore some of our favorite hangouts in SoAZ...mostly state parks... Picacho Peak State Park between Phx and Tucson (closed until Oct08...building a new visitor center) is a favorite quick get-away...Gilbert Ray Campground (run by Pima Co), right next to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum on the west side of the Tucson Mountains and a wonderful park in the desert (we can be there in 45 minutes)...Kartchner Caverns State Park near Benson (the caverns are awesome)...Patagonia Lake State Park between Patagonia and Nogales...Ropers Lake State Park just south of Safford, AZ... We do frequent long weekends at these locations (like whenever we can get away)... Of course, there are some great places up your way, too...

We are cheking out the 4CU rally in Williams over Labor Day...check it out! Hope to see you down the road in beautiful AZ!

I am so there for the 4CU rally! Past years I have spent Labor day At Burning Man but opt to do/ see new places instead.
Would love to come down your way.
Last year I went to Dead Horse Ranch state park in Cottonwood for some Halloween fun in Jerome may go again unless I find a new adventure for me and the pooches.
Cheers~

Here are Nyx and Jupitor in Chaco Canyon. We had a great summer, I'm going back to work and wll be away from them for 3 months. I'm going to cry! Actually, I already did.

We have been living the ultimate dog vacation. Jupitor also discovered porcupines during a 3AM Gibbous Moon walk. He is really a trooper, he let me pull out the quills, one by one.

Sad to have to work, I should buy them a new dog house, maybe a 31 footer?

This is Tia a Schnorkie. (Schnauzer/Yorkie. They could have just as easily called them a Yaouzer ) She loves to go camping and hang out, swim, play ball.

She was very perplexed to find the bathtub and rear panel gone exposing the backyard...
