Which Milenco mirror?

My new Ford Expedition has good mirrors, but I'm still going to have to add some trailer mirrors.

Milenco mirrors seem to be highly recommended, but ... which one?

I'm seeing two of interest:
  • Milenco Aero3 Towing Mirror, $92 on Amazon
  • Milenco Grand Aero3, currently $145 on Amazon

Any recommendations?

The Aero3 is tear-dropped shaped, and rides in an horizontal fashion (at least in the photo I see); the Grand Aero is a rounded rectangle, and rides in vertical orientation (it appears).

Here's an Amazon link that shows both: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=milenco+t...f=nb_sb_noss_1

I had the Grand Aero 3 on a Ford F150. They worked just fine. I did have to order a clamp replacement. The clamp operates on a ball and joint mechanism, and if you tighten down too much, the joint (which is 4 plastic nubs that the little ball snaps in to) begins to expand.

I would think the regular Grand Aero's would be fine, all depends on what shape mirror you want to be looking in to.

I think you can buy either cheaper than that amazon price shown in your linky.

I tried both the "strap on" and Milenco "Van" style mirrors and neither worked. The clearance between the glass mirror and the housing is so small they do NOT allow for remote adjusting the stock mirrors.

Maybe on your particular vehicle. I've had mine on many different GM products. Clearance has never been an issue at all.

I really like the CIPA slip on mirrors. I have used them for 10 years with no problems at all. These are very secure and aerodynamic, I even leave them on at the car wash and no silly clamps that sometimes don't fit your mirror housing or fail. These look so stock that I sometimes forget they are on the truck.
Here is a link.

It's a Ford Expedition thing. Ford doesn't even have Tow mirrors for the 19 & 20 models. Cipa said they were working on a model that would fit; see another thread.

I used the Grand Aero 3 and really liked them. With a new TV, I no longer need them. PM me if you are interested.
