Weight distribution

If I add more tension to the bars will that move weight from rear axel of tow vehicle to the front axel? I have a hensley arrow hitch by the way. Thanks

Hi bearrand.

The process actually distributes weight across all the axles of your tow vehicle and trailer. With the Hensley, you can dial in as much as you need to do this effectively.

Here's an etrailer article that might be helpful:

Good luck!

Increasing tension will move weight from the TV rear axle. Some weight moves to the front TV axle, some to the trailer axle.

Thanks

Thanks Bill M
Thanks Bill That's what I thought. I spoke to Hensley rep. who said it does not matter if you use the tension bars or not and to be careful not to put too much tension that will cause front end problems.
