Not sure what it was. Since mine only had the front seat, and no door panels, or other interior, I figure I gave whatever it was a head start. No Power Wagons at the show. Could of been a Willy's, as there were a few there. No Dodges either. Sorry Bill.

Looking at my International Harvester archives,IH built a production 4 wheel or all wheel drive pickup in 1953 it was an R140 model.The first offering of the travelall line was in 1952 as the L110.The first station wagon style vehical was the C-1 in 1934.In 1941 they offered a 4 wheel drive woody station wagon,the k-5 .In 1940 the military trucks like the K-3 4x4 and the M24 and M34 also the M14 were in production ,also the M56 ,all were all wheel drive .
I thought I would throw out some IH trivia there as I am a avid IH fan .That wagoneer looks like a 64 like my dad had with either a hurricane 6 cylinder or the rambler 327 vigilante v-8 ,not to be confused in any way with the smallblock chevy 327 ,no connection whatsoever.

I told Rob about a friend of mine here in ca.He owns a yard filled with IH parts .Its called IH only.I believe you can contact IH Only online.Many of my travelall parts came from his facility.I go out to his place to visit and buy parts I need or we trade.One of his scouts was used in a tacobell commercial.
I thought that was cool.

I am readying our 1971 Buick Centurion convertible (the BIG one) to tow our '66 Tradewind. I have installed the electric brakes now I want to put in a tranny cooler too. I hooked up the car to the trailer for the first time yesterday and tested the lights and brakes. They all WORK! So I thought maybe I would tow it a short distance. But our gravel driveway is 100' uphill and the extensive spring rain and snow had loosed the packed gravel enough that the big Buick could not get a grip. My neighbor tonight gave to me an EZ Lift hitch but some parts are missing. Hopefully, with that hitch distributing the weight better I can get the trailer up the drive. Otherwise it is plan B. Tow the trailer to the street with my '75 Jeep J20 (with big Buick motor) then connect it to the convertible.
Lets look at that buick and the J20 and your airstream! Sounds like the Jeep will need to get it up the driveway.Post photos as we all like to see what peoples setups look like and the tow vehicals.
Since my last real post here I have had a stroke and purchased two new tow vehicle's. The first is a 1962 Imperial Crown Cpe and the second is a 1970 Dodge PowerWagon with the Custom trim package and a 0.040 over E58 coded 360.
If you tow people will look at a 1978 Dodge Truck Dealers Brochure is shows a Club Cab towing a AS on the back cover.
I took the bench seat out of both of our Dodge Trucks ( '70 & 78 ) and replaced with EOM low back factory buckets of the correct year.
The 1970 truck has a radio hole the same size as the 75 Caddy with the AM/ FM/ CB so that's what is in it. The 1978 truck has a OEM MoPar AM/ FM/ Cassette and a Vintage 23 channel Cobra CB.
Both trucks use the same passenger door mounted swamp cooler since the original owners did not believe in A/C for a truck.
The tire size for the Imperials and trucks are all 235 x 75 x 15's. The '47 De Soto has 215 x 75 x 15's. The Imperials and the De Soto use the stock looking rims with the full wheel covers while the two trucks have Factory 8 x 15's rims.

Sorry about the stroke (hope you are recovering well), but happy about the new tow vehicles. Good to see another PowerWagon fan. I was worried about being out numbered by all of the Cornbinders.
