Free trade is the enemy of American workers. None of us can compete with slave labor in other countries. Carrier, which is moving to Mexico, paid it's US employee's 21$ an hr. They will be paying their indentured slaves $19 dollars less.

I wonder if we'll see a drastic reduction in price of Carrier systems once the Mexican plant comes on line.

Hi, decades ago Pillsbury moved to Mexico. A worker interviewed in California was paid $4.50 per hour. A worker in Mexico doing the exact same job said she was paid $4.35 and when asked 4.35 what? She said $4.35 per day. Pillsbury never lowered their prices one single dime. We avoid buying Pillsbury products.
