Towing Assistance Sought - Central Indiana

I need to move a 1968, 29' Streamline Empress.

While I will have a truck in late June, I need to move my baby before then.

The trip is about 75 miles - from Peru to Indianapolis.

I have contacted transportation companies and am receiving quotes around $300. I just didn't expect it to cost quite that much.

If there is someone out there who would love to have the fun of towing a trailer that isn't an airstream, I'd be happy to cover fuel and lunch.

Please feel free to PM me.

Julianne

The problem is one of liability. On that, there is no alternative to commercial coverage. FWIW, I've paid more to have my truck moved on a rollback wrecker that same distance.

Saw that you got her moved! Great news. Glad you got her. (Btw the streamline brochures do have our empresses listed as 29'ers.)

The title says it's 29' feet also, but my tape didn't show that this evening. Oh, we'll, maybe like most of us she's shrunk with age?
