2013 chevy duramax pulling a 97 34' excella. pulled for three years with factory hitch and experienced no problems. truck drops about 2" on hookup. am I missing a needed tow accessory

Most of us would not tow without some form of anti-sway. The 34' is reported to be remarkably stable but it is also long and heavy so if it DID sway, it would not be fun.

However, you seem to be happy doing what you do so why ask?

It depends on what you are interested in correcting or enhancing.

A weight distribution system will change the weight distribution and should lessen the 2" rear drop, if that is your concern. Or just a set of air bags on the rear axle can raise the rear back to level.

Sway control is always a good safety measure, but it may also depend on what you're carrying in the back of the truck bed whether you need weight distribution. Next time you're loaded and hooked up, take it to a truck scale and check your truck's axle weights to be sure the front is not too light and the back too heavy. If there is a problem, a weight distribution hitch can help correct it.
