My Airstream manual has a technique for obtaining tongue weight using a bathroom scale, fulcrum, and lever handle. Weight derived from this technique yields a weight of 790 pounds for my Safari LS with slide out and Hensley Hitch, and that just seems too light. The trailer is unloaded. Have I done something wrong, or is that weight about right?

Forgot to mention that I increased the length of the board to 4' and then multiplied the weight of 200 #s shown in the bathroom scales in my attachment by four, for a total of about 800#
