I tried these on my F250 when I was pulling a heavy 5th wheel. Timbrens are made of a very stiff rubber, and when the suspension makes contact with them it is a hard, solid thud. I switched to Airlift airbags and it made all the difference. With a hitch weight of approx 1000#, and a competent WD hitch, I doubt if the Timbrens will make much difference. However, if you find the truck’s suspension bottoming out, they are worth a try. Definitely less expensive than an airbag system.
