Nice collection of luggers!

That International, though, a true classic ... They have all but disappeared.

Growing up, I had a neighbor with an International pickup. Eventually got rid of it as parts were hard to come by, but it was one tough truck.

Robert,
I’d love some advice. New to towing/trailers, and have a VW Atlas SEL too. Thanks in advance!

2017 22 Sport and 2018 Chevy Tahoe LS Custom Edition (no third row) More floor to ceiling room, and over a hundred pounds of useless (to us) seats removed, giving us a lower flatter floor with more cargo capacity. I can stand our road bikes inside with both wheels AND the seat on!

We have a lot of tow vehicles around the store but I like my personal tow vehicle the best. Jaguar XJ, 5.0 Litre supercharged, air suspension, 20 x 9” wheels and crazy tight steering. It’s just a little too much fun. Click image for larger version

Now that is my kind of TV. I’ll bet you get some strange looks from the large pick up truck crowd when you are traveling with your Airstream.

I have a 2008 Tundra which is a great TV in my opinion. My only real complaint is that it is HUGE. I hope to get a Porsche Cayenne or Macan (CPO) in the future to tow our 5,000 lb 66 Tradewind. However if I can’t swing that then possibly a Cherokee FWD with the new 2.0 turbo motor will work just fine. Thanks for your recommendation for this as a TV for smaller Airstreams.

Hi Dan We have been running a 3.2 Litre Cherokee in the fleet for 3 years now. We have 42,000 miles on it now with most of that towing, it has been to both coasts twice and it has never had a repair other than oil changes. It did a delivery to Kelowna BC in September and got left out there with the 08, 27' trade in so Heather and I flew to BC in November picked it up and did the Oregon Coast to San Diego and then back home to Ontario. It is not as comfortable as the Jag or as quick but more than adequate. The 9 speed transmission makes a huge difference. I think the Coquihalla pass in BC is the steepest expressway in North America. It climbed it at 50 MPH 3rd gear 4000 RPM at about 2/3rds throttle. It is very maneuverable which was great for the Oregon Coast we could drive into any little town or scenic lookout. Andy
