Saf-T-Tow: Are they available?

Andy Rogozinski of Inland RV Center has indicated in some older posts that they may be re-releasing this product.

The above name is taken by another, hitch-locking product. What I am referring to is a device from some 30-odd years ago that read conditions electrically [?] and applied trailer brakes quick-as-all-get-out to prevent sway. (Is that period-appropriate slang?)

I'm interested, and would purchase one.

Andy?

You may want to contact the vendor directly and ask for an update. You're more likely to get info. If you do find and purchase one we'ld love a report.

In the 70's Airstream had an option called "The Tru Track Electric Sway Control". If would sense a sway condition in the trailer and apply breaks to straighten the unit. I have only read about it, never seen one. Is this the system you are talking about?

Oh, I'll contact Inland RV, but thought I'd see what noises this topic would bring up in A/S land as well.

There are other mentions as well.
