I have owned two Rangers, both were 4 cyl and 5 speed. Very nice and comfortable for me. Would I try to tow anything bigger than a small utility trailer with a Ranger "NO", not even a 16' Bambi. I tow our 25' Sovereign with a F250 V10 and get 10 mpg. With a 6 cyl Ranger you would do well to get half of that.
