Pulling abilities of the Newer Ford F150 ecoboosts?

What do airstream are you able to pull with the Newer Ford F150 ecoboosts?

YES we want th newer 2011 above ecoboost we don't want diseal or a 250

I have my eye on the Classic or Excella 30 or 34 ft. I heard some of the newer Classics are heavy above 10 thousands pds. So I will have to see before we purchase the Mac tow weight!

IS THEIR ANYONE CURRENTLY PULLING WITH A FORD F150 ecoboost a 30 ft and if so WHAT?

Pictures would be AWESOME if not ADVISE is just as Valuable!!

Thanks!!!

i've run NJ to FL a few times and been thrilled. my trailer scales at 9200 lbs. packed to go. the issue for most people is the payload of the truck configuration. there are a few detailed threads on the f150.

Thank I you, YES I found some pages before, but they were about older ford f150s

I'm interested in the 2011 and up because it can pull 9,000 to max 11,400 I believed. I have not found any details pages on this here!!

More than opinion, consider this:

http://www.ford.com/resources/ford/g...rv&tt_f150.pdf

The trucks can pull, by weight, just about any Airstream if configured or ordered with the proper package. The biggest limitation is the payload capacity which is directly related to the tongue weight or hitch weight, gear in the bed and people weight. That one factor is what often drives people to bigger trucks.

An '06 34' Classic with SO Gross weight 11,500 lbs and tongue weight of 1250 lbs. would be an example one of the only ones that would really call for a different truck considering the max of the truck- 11,300 lbs, payload 1950 lbs (est) and hitch 1050 lbs.
