Pro-Pride Lock

I have read many posts about how to lock your hitch to prevent theft, however I don't recall seeing anything regarding the Pro-Pride.
How do you protect your trailer when using this hitch?
Thanks,
SS

I haven't received my hitch yet, so IDK if this will do it but I was planning to lock the over-center devices and put a lock pin in the stinger.

I have a lock on the ball, the stinger is usually in my truck when unhitched. Hard to hook up without a stinger so I do not worry about it.

We have a Hensley Arrow, and have been using it extensively for the past eleven years. The only hitch security that we have ever used is pad locking the hitch bar (stinger) to one of the chains on the Airstream.

We also have a Hensley Arrow and keep the stinger mounted in it when parked. One padlock is in the safety-pin hole of one over-center latches and another padlock is in an enlarged hole in a long hitch pin going through the hole in the stinger. Could somebody still overcome those precautions? Sure, but it would take some time and effort. Locks can be broken and the entire hitch can be taken off.

I was thinking about using a long shank pad lock to lock the over center bars together.. might slow down the thief and if they see this strange hitch move on to a ball type deal like equalizer or blue ox hitch.
