I have used both the Trailer Valet XL and the TRAX power dolly. They both work great. I switched from the Trailer Valet because I am getting older and decided that I wanted something with power. Again, they both work fine. I don't have experience with the ParkIt power dolly.

The Trailer Valet XL can either be hand cranked, which I always did, or powered with a drill. Turning the trailer was easy and it just took time and patience to maneuver it in place.

The TRAX power dolly is easier on my back because I am not hand cranking. It turns fairly easy and doesn't seem to have the challenges that I am reading about regarding the ParkIt power dolly. I use my Trax on a slight incline up a gravel driveway with a sharp left onto packed pea gravel for about 20 feet and then onto a flat concrete slab. The batteries are sealed, requiring no maintenance, it has two speeds and you can plug the trailer into it to also use the trailer brakes while you are moving it.

Turning

In regards to the first post, here are two suggestions to make turning easier:
(1) increasing the tire pressure may help
(2) it's always easier to turn when the trailer is in motion.
Hope this helps.

Concur, that is my approach as well.

we initialy had the trailer valet

+ it mounts in the side.
+ easy to use
- limited movement as you are limited by the farms and the trailer body- 40 degreees max on a 22FB sport

now we use the parkit360

+ mounts in the lift post after removing the shoe
+ has 190 degree movement
+ forward and reverse
+ auto trailer brake via 7 pin connector
+ can use the trailer battery
- heavy, thus we dont bring it when we camp, only at home

I felt compelled to update this thread as we have decided to return our Parkit 360. I will not even try to sell it on Craigslist or eBay as I donít want to put someone else in the same situation. It is not safe to move a 27FB Airstream with the 10k unit we purchased. I know of at least one other forum member who is returning theirs as well.

For those who have smaller trailers and if you have not had issues with your Parkit 360 - I wish you the best of luck.
