I use a power caster with a propride hich and not the ball. I had to make my own adapter to immobilize the hitch. After that it works great. Have used it on a number or trailers. The box trailers I just used the jack without a foot.
Was aiming for similar dolly setup for our 25ft dual axel 5300/6300 Intl CCD. Chance found PRE owned 4 in-line tire electric "Power Mover" brand courtesy local Craigslist.
Available through dolly dealers but Fashioned a custom stout welded down tube bracket per our local hitch shop to attach just behind LP cover. Allows for proper clearance of dolly motor L+R swinging under battery box. Mount using long u bolts to avoid welding or piercing the frame. Also gives easy adjustment (never had to) or removal.
Wonderful combination. On Flat paved driveway performs effortless 2 point 180 with no backlash, springback tension as warned by some. Be sure to get proper rated dolly version for your tongue and GVW for proper control and stability. Good luck with your brand choice as there are a few out there.
