Are Bilstien 5100's only for raised/lifted vehicles? Every time I search for them online I see notes that they are for raised or lifted vehicles.

always check http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index.cfm

They have free shipping also. I have used them in the past.
I need to get a set of Koni's for the IS350 soon.
Have a good one.

So from this thread and other online forums it sounds like it's a toss up as far as whether Bilstein or KYB is the better shock. There seems to be equal preference for both. I'm planning to go with KYB since they're a bit lower in price.

OK. I just brought the truck home from Les Schwabe. New Bilsteins all around. The store is only about a Mike and a half from my home, so I didn't get a good sense of a difference in driving, other that the truck seemed a bit stiffer. Maybe. So it will be interesting when I hook up the trailer in a few weeks.

Five hundred Mikes a day? Ten hours is a long drive for this geezer. I'm much more comfortable with 6 hour drives.
