Lightbulb MY vehicle is seeking YOUR Airstream for cross country tow and cost share.

My husband and I have to get our SUV (Land Rover Discovery) From Georgia back to Seattle. Before we incur the huge cost of shipping it or the waste of time driving it, i Thought of how much i wished i had a truck over there when i bought my last airstream in Florida and then needed a vehicle.

So, this is me sending out the feelers to possible hook up, pun intended, with another airstreamer how might need a tow vehicle. open to looking at the detail of who would drive and when. Just wanting to not make this a money pit for me. The vehicle is is great shape and is ready after Dec 20th, would like to have it back in seattle by Jan 10 at the latest.

Rivka

Mods, if you can think of a better place for me to post this, feel free to move it or lat me know

yeah i plan on listing it over at the VAC but there classified section is being repaired right now, will check back.
A services section would be a great new section, since towing services and things like sewing and similar things are a common subject.

How about a "services wanted or offered" area?

Hey - I'm headed to steamboat, CO - have a buddy going with for a few days - he might take your rover the rest of the way. His name is Todd Coleman. We're leaving sunday morning VERY early from his place in Fayetteville.

I wish you luck, and it is an intriguing concept, as well as generous, however...there are not many AirStreams that could be safely towed with that Rover...

Be careful.
