Greeting from "The Ocean State". Took delivery of our Safari 25 ft SS on 4-2-04, and had a lot of road debrie on the under belly (sand & salt). We are curious to see if anyone has actually mounted mud flaps on their AS. We are thinking of converting automotive type mud flaps to fit the AS. Has anybody done this, and how does it look? Want to protect the under belly from dings.
Thanks,
Gail

Thanks guys for the info and the pics. I spoke to Jim P. at AS customer service today, and he said that the only mud flaps available from AS are made for the AS MH's. He said that we can modify them to fit the Safari. Now I can picture what they look like.
Cheerios,
Gail

These are the mud flaps we purchased to protect our AS. We took our AS for recall service this year and forgot to use them on the way to the dealers, and GUESS WHAT? We had a few more dings to our tt. When we picked her up we didn't forget. Really guys, we recommend these.Road Wing Mud Flaps

Gail,
Twenty-three years ago I fashioned some 12X18 inch (trimmed them ofcourse) rubber pickup truck flaps on my '70 Overlander. I use a piece of angle aluminum and riveted (Olympic) it to the under belly/banana wrap right behind the wheel well. The bolted the flaps up. Worked very weil .
