If you got it in without hitting the wall, then you can get it out without hitting the wall. Reverse the procedure.

Moving forward and turning left....

Here is how I see it. Unless you are turning left at a ninety degree angle without moving forward at all you should be OK. Moving forward while turning left will move you away from the wall without moving the rear into the wall. My Airstream always follows my tow vehicle....moving forward will move you away from the wall at the same rate as turning left....ONLY MY SIMPLE LITTLE OPINION....please always use a spotter when in any situation where you feel uncomfortable....you feel that way for a reason....trust your instincts.

I back my 22 sport into my 100+ft driveway each time about 6 to 8 inches from a wall on my left (drvr side). I pull out slowly very gradually turning right and keeping an eye on the rear of the camper via my mirrors.

Jeez...I have issues like that in my own driveway. I've been thinking of getting one of those trailer dollies that e-trailer sells so I can park my Airstream without the TV

Sorry, but this is not true. As others have stated, the rear of the trailer will hit the wall if you turn away from the wall too quickly. I know because I've done it! Fortunately the rear clearance light on our Sovereign sticks out farther than anything else at that point so it took the hit. We ended up with small dent where the light was which mostly pulled out, and we had to replace the light. I also caught the end of the bumper on the wall which pulled the bumper off bending it at 90 where it attached at the other side of the trailer. No great loss there, the bumper was in poor shape when I got the trailer and there is no bumper trunk. I patched the bumper up and while it's obviously been repaired at least it looks no worse than when I got the trailer.

So if you pulled into the wall going forward why not simply backup away from the wall?

If you're referring to my message, I was turning around in a parking lot next to a store and got careless about the amount of space I had. The piece of the building I hit actually stuck out a bit from the rest of the building. I wasn't actually parked next to the wall, just driving past it slowly and then turned away from it. I was completely aware that this could happen, but succumbed to a combination of fatigue, hurrying and carelessness.
