Thanks. We leave in 2 days so I hope to have time to complete the install tonight. I just wanted to be sure I was getting it right. I am struggling to get the hole parallel with the frame, though, to tighten it down. Any suggestions there?

Thanks to all of you for your advice on hitching up the Propride 3. I've learned a lot from reading your posts. My husband installed it and after having some issues hooking it up, I was almost ready to have him uninstall it and put the old hitch back on. I'm looking forward to trying to hitch up with some of your ideas. I'll let you know how it goes.

Pics CMS?

I was told if you loosen the weight distribution (WD) bars, the PP receiver box can tilt "up" in front. Reverse (tighten) WD for lower alignment.

If severe enough I may have to rig a way to push loose WD bars down a bit for more upward rotation.

I will know more when I have our installed

There must be movement in connection to TV vertically so that hitch operates properly.

I don't have a camera to use for my Hensley so I use a Hitch Helper. If you have ever had the angle of the stinger lined up perfectly with the hitch, but it's off side to side, rather than move the TV and mess up the angle, you can just ratchet the trailer over until it aligns. I've been using this for 7 years and wouldn't be without it.

One of Sean's customers made a series of videos about hitching and unhitching the 3P hitch. These videos were very helpful to me when I first installed my 3P. The videos are linked on Sean's 3P hitch webpage. I have linked them below. Well worth the time to watch.

Anyway, problems with porposing and loud pops when turning were enough to affect peace of mind. Add that the single friction sway damper is totally cranked down yet mild sway evident maybe because of slack in the system contributing.

Hope to install this week and tow the weekend, only about 2 hours away, probably over via US290...
I have an EazLift in the shed. Wanna buy it?

I got it figured out. I missed where to lift on the yoke to adjust it. Final question.... How do you know what hole to put the spring bar link in? It looks like the previous owner used the 2nd down, but I do not see a reference in the manual.

Hole for spring bar link

I believe it's the middle of the (number of?) upper holes--the details are on the page where the spring jacks are mounted, if memory serves--not where you would expect it...

How old is the hitch? P. 15 in the manual for the one I bought this year shows the 3 hole version and says to use the center hole.

After having some trouble moving weight to the from axle (probably due to going against Sean's recommendation for 1400# bars and choosing 1000s) I ended up moving this to the bottom of the 3 holes to get more leverage.

Good luck!
