Ford fact. installed towing pkg.

First of all I wish to thank all of you who responded to my request for information on 2005 Ford electrical situation with error messages (trailer fault - check trailer wiring).
However, it was brought to my attention (by my wife) that this condition happens on all three of the trailers that we pull, and this eliminated the possibility of it being associated with one particular trailer.

Back to the factory installed trailer package - has anyone had problems with it and what can be done to remedy this?

Thank you.

Yes. I understand this is common problem on 2005 fords snd only solutions are get a new or rebuilt brake controller or remove, add an aftermarket controller and get dealer to set system not to display error message from removed controller. I plan on having mine rebuilt. There is a guy on eBay who will do it for $100 but but I haven't gotten around to removing mine yet.
