Eaz-Lift Weight distribution bars

The seller of my air stream threw in Eaz-Lift Anti-Sway bar and Weight distribution bar. I understand the benefit of the Anti-Sway bar but I am not so sure about the Weight distribution bars. Will someone give me and idea of how they work?

Hi there. Like the name suggests, those bars help distribute weight - specifically tongue weight so your headlights don't point to the sky when you hook up the trailer. Well, that's dramatic for effect :-)

There are LOADS of threads here about these, sometimes a bit more heat than light, but search and read through those and you'll get a good idea.

Here's a link that might be helpful:

Good luck!

For me, I drive a very loaded TV, the bars lift and distribute the weight almost two inches. Keeps everything even when towing.
