Just curious. My Tundra is a 2015.
I used a bubble level to roughly get my 30" FC in the ball park of being level. My eyes can lie to me. The old style BO from the dealer set up had pointed the AS nose down and I had a bow push to go along with it. The number of links in the ratchet latches 9, 10, 11 etc were irrelevant under the old set up. The new set up I now have I will have to begin again and see what happens by starting where I had the old receiver and ball mount, doing the measurements for ball height vs. chain links and watching the bubble level. I have a GVWR of 8800 Lbs., and 880 Lbs. tongue weight.

Picked up the AS yesterday from the dealer for warranty work with the new BO system installed with the receiver shank pointed up and new ball mount 2nd hole from bottom and 9 chain links on the spring bars. Looked like the AS was a little nose high. Drive home had some bow push but really couldn't tell yet. It's going to be an iterative process.
