We pull our 1991 25ft. Classic with an F-250 diesel, this is a great truck to pull the Airstream and we wouldn't consider an F-150 due to the mountain ranges we pull it over, we have been very pleased with the comfort of the captains chairs in the truck, we recently went from pulling a 2005 16ft. CCD (Bambi) with a Lincoln Aviator (V8) and honestly, the ride didn't seem much better, certainly didn't have a better sense of control pulling like the F-250 does.

Hi, that Caddy has about 103 horsepower and 62 lbs more torque [@ 1650 more RPM] than my Lincoln. But the tow rateing is about 1,500 lbs less. [7,400 / Caddy and 8,900 / Lincoln.

Go figure
I've always loved pickup trucks and especially my Duramax so I reckon I'll just have to suffer
