Changed to "proper" trunnion bars on my Reese Dual Cam...

....and what a difference!!

I had been towing the Trade Wind (hitch weight = 750 pounds, more or less) with 1500# bars. I got a deal on a set of 800# bars, and man is it nicer! There's still no sway or issues, but the creaking/popping noises are way down and the whole TV/trailer assembly just "feels" better.

Reese says to match the weight rating of the bars with the hitch weight, and I guess they're right!

Highly recommended!

Good move. The lighter bars should be kinder to your rivets also.
