Can you rent a one-way tow vehicle?

For now, our airstream is just going to be an office - so we can postpone buying a tow vehicle for a little while

So the question is, do we have to use a service to move the airstream the 1000 miles to our place, or is it possible / a good idea to rent a tow vehicle? If so, do you have any details?

Thanks!

darkStar -- This reminds me of a recent post, How to do a one-time tow cheap

Best of luck -- and post back to let us know how you fared.

What size Airstream? From where to where?

Thanks canoe stream (btw a canoe is next on my list )

It's good to know that I might be able to work with u-haul or budget!

We'll let you know when we have the details worked out.

I am in this exact same delimma except the AS that I'm getting is 1400 miles away. I looked around and there is a place where I'm at that allows out-of-state towing. They have 3/4 ton and 1 ton dually diesels for rental. They are a smaller local outfit so you may want to check the smaller guys too.

Both Budget and U-Haul specialize in one way rentals of heavy duty tow vehicles. You can move lots more than the trailer that way too.
