Question Can a 290 or 325 tow an enclosed car trailer?
Can the 1980's Motorhome 290 or 325 tow an enclosed car trailer?

We have an '88 AS 345. In the manual they state the towing capability - 2000 lb.
I think the manual is for the 345 and 325.

Check the manual.

I've read about reinforcing the frame for heavier towing. An enclosed car trailer is a lot of weight.
