10,000 Equalizer brand hitch head / 1,000 # bars; Currently 25' @ 5750 # base weight; 3/4 T diesel truck; ~15 yrs on this hitch . Never an issue backing on relatively flat surfaces, but use caution to avoid potential A-frame stress (or disconnect load bars) when backing and/or turning up a steep incline - especially when you are in the "dip".
