Back-up Cameras

Will be taking delivery of my first AS in a few weeks (23FB). Since I may be towing alone at times, I am thinking a wireless back-up camera might be a good idea. Would appreciate any thoughts and/or suggestions on the subject.

My install. I am quite happy with it.

Jcmohle, I installed a wired system in my 23 FB. I was not completely sold on a wireless system due to interference, etc... My system was bought from RearView Safety and I and the wife think it's fantastic. The camera has infrared for night and audio. I mounted it just above the license plate and ran the wire thru the trailer. I you need details, just PM me.

I have a Hensley hitch and it is very difficult for me to hook up. The Airstream mag. mentioned a wireless backup camera for $140.00 (IBall). Does anyone have experience with this? Amazon sells it and I am desperate! Orson

No, but in addition to the install I mentioned upthread, I also purchased another small magnetic camera. (my receiver is a 4 channel, so I have 2 cameras on 2 channels) I can place it right on the Hensley stinger up against the vertical part and have an excellent view of the mouth of the hitch box. I back up to within 1", get out one time to line up the angle and final height and slip it right in, first shot every time. Works very well.
