Yeah Boyd wheels are always a quality product. Might build a hot rod or buy a set of nice rims for my 70 LeMans like those. Right now I have the jones to build a 69-75 2wd blazer hot rod. I could tow the Airstream with something like that. Might just put a hitch on the Pontiac.
Here is a truck I was second inline for. It didn't have the 20's or the Airride on it then. It was close to me. Now it's more then I could afford right now.
I WANT THIS TRUCK!
I'm trying to decide on a set of rims for my Suburban. The factory rims have warped from brake heat. THey are pounding the suspension at hwy speeds. Idler arm is toast from the pounding and stiff tires. Not sure I can afford Boyds. Might get a set of MT 589 knock offs or get a seto of OutlawII so the tow rig and the 59 match.
The factory rims for these E rated tires are 6 inches wide. Finding a 16x6 rim is tough. What is avalable is limited unless I go to somebody like Boyd and special order. I have been trying to find a set of 2003 GM mags but just not finding them. Might go down to a D rated tire like a BFG KO and go to a 8 inch wide rim. Ride would probably improve big time.
