Hi Ed,
You had recommended the Tekonsha Primus brake controller for my 2017 Audi Q7. The dealer here in Tucson told me I will need the following Audi parts to allow plugging in to brake controller: 4 Wire Sets, 2 housing, 1 socket. The price on all this is $185. I have part #'s if you want to reference them. My question is did you need these wiring parts as well.

The e-trailer adapter did not remedy the braking issue with the Tekonsha Prodigy RF unit.

Was this the issue with the AS LED lights not working properly? Did you find something else to remedy the problem?

We still have the interference with the Tekonsha Prodigy RF brake action generating a pulsation or brake power application at the same frequency as either the turn signals or four way flasher. The e-trailer part also did not modify the lights issue as we had large resisters in place for that issue.

The issue or getting the brake system wiring from the right rear of the Mercedes ML to the front drivers wheel well will ultimately have to be addressed. This trailer brake wiring "oversight" exists in the first three months production of the 2007 model year starting in October 2006 and corrected in January 2007.
