27' Safari

I need some information of the 27' Safari that Airstream sold from 99 to 2002 or 2003.

Specifically I'd like the know the empty weight, tongue weight, and GVWR. I'd especially like a floorplan that I can show my wife.

Thanks,

Steve,
My '01 Safari was 5,500 lbs unloaded. Without water but with my normal food & clothing load, it came in at 6,000 lbs. Hitch weight was about 730 lbs. GVWR was 7,300 lbs.

Interiors on the 27' model were all front sofa, folding table on the street side. Mid bathroom with shower. Across from the bath was a large double door closet.

Rear options were two. Either a queen bed or 2 twins. Let me know if you have further questions.

Jack

99 safari 27ft floorplan

steve you are in luck. i have 6 mavica digital images of the floorplan that i can e mail you .i think we talked once before about tire sizes a while back. just p.m me with your e mail address and they are ready to go. i have the inside and out in a folder set up for slideshow of the 99 27 ft safari . i kept it in my e mail for future viewing since it was sent to me from toscanos airstream dealer when i was buying the trailer. i moved it into a trailer park in mountain view ca and have been living in it since august o3, close to my job site. what a great trailer. youll love the floor plan and my mavica file. it is as j canavera described. i am at wonderful62@earthlink.net to make it easier for you. wayne wunder w.b.c.c.i./v.a.c.#1859 62 globetrotter/99 safari
