I was pretty aggressive once I started looking. Went through several a day- emails, calls, lots of questions- spent about a month actively looking- spent about 4 months researching what to look for and what I really wanted.

Demolition day in the Aluminum Falcon....
Here's where I started...
Oven, sink and NuTone removed
Counter top removed
Spice rack removed
Now to clean, clean, clean and then paint...
Need to clean up the electronics section- bit of a "rats" nest

The "Aluminum Falcon" looks great, love the hardwood. Taking the wallpaper off takes 20 years off it.

Looks like a good find? Did you check the rear end for water intrusion and floor rot? I ended up replacing the last 4 feet of floor in the rear.
Also where are your batteries located? Mine are in the front.

Rear end looks good - very minimal rot from drips coming from the vistas... Batteries are right behind the door- considering building a battery box for the front- but that is a low priority at the moment.

I would remove that trim around the back and make sure that caulk seal back there is good. It is not a matter of if that seal will leak but when. It is one of those ounce of prevention things.

Such a pain in the ASS- but worth it - as for cleaning TSP works wonders....
More cleaning/ sanding pics
Rebuilt the speaker covers
The kitchen starts to go back together after a fresh coat of paint
Anyone know what the second pump is for? My water pump is mounted under the converter to the left of the pic and then there is another pump by the tank to the right.
Used a plastic weld to fill the holes in the back end cap
Finally prepping for paint
Lots of items started on the list.

Maybe if you remove it and lubricate it it will work again. My rear bath has the fan in the ceiling but it barely would run due to lack of use and age. I was able to lube it and clean it. Replacement fans are available.

Will do - have a few other electrical spots to track down- maybe this one has a disconnected wire like one of my lights has... Thank you.

What a busy week - finally making good headway..... Now that misc parts are in and most everything is dismantled...
Countertop cut, sanded, fitted and ready to seal
Back room and kitchen primed with XIM and ready for paint
The first of many windows cleaned and resealed
First vista sealed and ready for "leak" test... Vulkem on the glass/parbond on the frame
