This year, more people than ever are blogging. They are even saying our next presidential election will be swayed by those who blog and read blogs. I know that many of us here have blogs, but am wondering what is your motivation for blogging?
We originally started our blog to document our restoration. Then it quickly became a way for me to write my random thoughts. From there is became the summer journal for our West Coast friends to catch up with what we were doing on the East Coast. Now the new blog will be all of the above.
Hiya! I have a blog which I post to on almost a daily basis. We are using it to chronicle our time on the road and to promote our art which we are creating along the way. I love it. It's such a great opportunity to really thoughtfully document your life. I am really into photography and it is a great motivator to always take tons of pictures everywhere we go so I will have great shots to add to the blog. Our friends, families and clients have a venue to stay connected in a way we have never had before and we have met up with unexpected new friends via the blog too. Dontcha love the internet?!

I have had a website dedicated to my mustang restorations for years, and at times it has covered the other vehicles (including the caravel), but now I have it pared down to just mustangs again.
And I have a daily blog - picture a day, which is an art/photo project I started in February. (the link is in my sig below)
I Let my posts on the forum and my pictures in the forum photo album serve as the Caravel's online record.
I record this stuff as a way to meet other people with the same interests (and I have made some lasting friendships that way - people I otherwise would never have met), to keep friends and family far and wide up to date on my projects, and to preserve a journal of my work which I can reference later without worrying about losing it if my harddrive crashes. Some of the projects on the mustang pages have also been a great help to other people doing similar projects, and many have written and thanked me for making the information available, and that is very rewarding.

I started a Blog with the planning of our trip "Trailer CONVOY America". We had to cancel the trip because of family loss. However we are still going to make some of the trip so will make posts about those stops. We're thinking of doing the trip next year. So this will be good practice. We'd still like to co a book on the Airstream comunity.

Hi the community;
When i've created my blog it was to tell our Aistream story from USA to France but it was a blog story and not really a day after day blog as it has to be... and as Rich Luhr do with Airstream life.So for me it was the simpliest solution to have a web site, easy to write with a lot of pictures; The goal was to share this passion with others and show them a lot of interesting things;
After the évolution was to complete holidays stories with the Airstream with the other travel-stories in USA with what we see and the people we met ( Hi Pinkflamingoes ). And finally , the last one was the story of our incredible wedding, in march, at Daytona where all was organised and paid by Harley davidson company ( our other passion ). Not always airstream but always things we love and we want to share with you.
