It COULD have been worse. When I went on the factory tour there was a 31 foot Classic special edition there for repairs. A large deer had run in front of the tow vehicle which smacked it dead on center, then the deer bounced up on the hood of the pickup, broke the window, went up over the roof and THROUGH the front & wrap around windows, landing on the leather sofa and splattering innards and stuff widely. I'm betting repairs started with "cut off all the front segments, then get a hose....".

I know it could have. And thank God it wasn't. But it always seems like it couldn't have been at the time when it happens to you. I was beginning to think God was trying to tell us something. I told my wife that it was beginning to look like it would be cheeper to just dry camp in the drive way from then on.

Fortunately things went well on our next outing and I really got my confidence up on towing and backing (got plenty of practice on that trying to get into the tight spaces at Ft. Wilderness) and by the time I got home at 11:00 at night I wasn't even uncomfortable towing in the dark, of course the headlights helped .

Not streaming, unfortunately. With the pet sitting business, I was busy taking care of other people's animals while they went somewhere! I did get to spend lots of time on the lake with friends that were camping. I just couldn't stay all the time! I have one weekend set aside the end of July for camping, then I'll have to wait until September or October. Just can't decide where I want to go. I'm thinking up around the Hiwassee River so we can take advantage of the river activities. May go back to McKinney in Cartersville. That's close and always a lot of fun!

Be careful getting to Jackson Center! Now that your three's are done with, hopefully it will be smooth streamin'!!!!

MM,
Curious how long it will take Jackson Center to do your repairs? Do you have to leave the Streamer and pick her back up in a couple of weeks?

We are going to leave her for repairs and the only three warranty items we have, thus far. Pretty standard stuff, tank monitor needs calibrating, reflector fell off in drive way (stuck on with double sided tape), and shower door leaks. We will go back the following week end and pick her up on 7/24 and drive back to Atlanta or I will go back the week end after that to pick her up on 7/31 by myself. My wife is a teacher and our schools start back early here so I'll have to go solo if the AS isn't ready in a week. Mapquest says 8-1/2 hour drive but we'll see. I think JC is one to 1-1/2 hours north of Cincinatti. We plan to spend Saturday night in Kentucky at a KOA.
