Not us! Maybe that's why we've lost so many volunteers lately...

I KNOW, Tedd, it puts a new spin on

"this ain't rocket science, now is it?? "

I believe I just said that to my son Eric when he couldn't figure out an old-fashioned coffee percolator. The guys at the Group Home (Mozart House) think that that percolater is a new product :-)

I love "messing" with them. They're appreciative.

I wanted to do something special on my "500 Rivet Mistress" occasion, and I thank you ALL for making it special!

Keep it up.. I have met some of you, in person, at a few local rallies, I've talked to some of you on Tuesday nights, but it is HARD to remember who is who! This thread should help us ALL
do that.

Oh yeah, what I do.

I'm a painter. I work for a man who owns several thousand apartment units. I have a cushy job. I make my own schedule, and work only about 20 or so hours each week. Not sure where the rest of my time goes. LOL...

I also do many side paint jobs, including faux finishing, stripes, etc. I'll post a few pics of my home, and other jobs I've done. As you can tell, I encourage color. The orange bedroom is mine...

Congrats. on the 500. Work? As little as possible. See! I'm at work now. 32 years working as an "ASE Master Automotive Techician for Volkswagen of America". OK. aka scum-bag mechanic. Maybe the theme is that we enjoy working with things of a mobile mechanical nature.
Tom.

I'm a musician...full-time guitarist/singer/studio owner/guitar instructor, and part time slacker. I average maybe 24 gigs a month in the summer, and 35 a month in the winter. Mostly here in the Vail Valley.

Post Soon to be retired..

Marvin has done autobody repair since 1975 and is retiring this summer but has a full time job getting our Argosy ready for the trip south this winter.
I am a registered nurse and have worked full time since 1970. My expertise is Endoscopy.. I believe everyone needs a colonscopy once in their life . I will be retiring in August and will be introducing a new puppy to the household and to our present dog Toby.. I can hardly wait.. AND we will be first time GRANDPARENTS.. in July.. What an exciting year we will have ..

500 is good. . . Happy 5-Rivets Day! As for us, Max is an attorney, not ready to retire yet although I'm ready for him to do so. I'm retiring this spring from middle school English teaching. Grading, papers, latest "new program," I'll not miss those. Times have changed. Seems like I teach lots more "character" than I do English anymore. 14-year-olds, though--they've kept me young and laughing What's ahead for me? Getting a new loom and trying my hand once more to weaving, maybe raising Labradoodles, keeping the home front happy for Max and our son Steve, and HITTING THE ROAD IN GYPSY!
