Congrats on the BIG 500! I am the asset manager for a commercial construction company. Our company owns tons of tools, equipment and a couple warehouses. I'm in charge of everything which is a HUGE benefit when working on the Bubble. My wife is a financial aid advisor at a state college.

I'm Telecommunications Manager for the convention center (America's Center) and the domed stadium facility (Edward Jones Dome) here in St. Louis. We are now working towards getting ready for the Final Four tournament next week.

I previously spent 8 years as Telecommunications Manger for the local community college district (St. Louis Community College) and previous to that had a 26 year carreer in the banking industry, working my way up from Computer Operator to I/S Manager. Unfortunately I was always on the wrong end of the buyout picture.

I went from lots of vacation time (at the college) to trying to now fit in time between the conventions, sports events, and trade show business. The good side is the change of jobs made good financial sense along with me knowing that the retirement is not that far away, although with the cost of health care these days, it makes one think twice about that.

Patty and I have always talked about the fact that we could go down to Branson and work at Silver Dollar City. She could be one of those crafts people, showing off her skills. Me the techy guy, will probably be the one with the long white beard and bib overalls, carrying the broom with the little pan, sweeping up the cigarette butts, and other assorted trash off the paths.

In a prior life, (pre-witness protection), I was a waste management consultant.....however since witness protection: I design, build, maintain and manage computer networks for a school district.
Computers manufactured by companies such as IBM, Compaq and millions of others are by far the most popular with about 70 million machines in use worldwide. Macintosh fans note that cockroaches are far more numerous than humans and that numbers alone do not denote a higher life form. -NY Times 11/91

I make people live longer.

It is my business to prevent deaths due to cardiovascular disease (stroke and heart attack) by controlling diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressures. We fundamentally alter the probability of cardiovascular disease through earlier detection and far more precise treatments. Targeted therapy is rare (typically done in 0.5% of clinics) but is able to achieve conventionally unprecendented results. The problem is that good lipid and diabetic control is difficult to obtain without a deep knowledge, aggressive approach and passionate dedication to making great things happen for patients. It also does not pay as much as putting a stent in the coronaries...its not too bad, though.

Kimber is an Agency Specialist for a Fortune 200 Insurance Company.

Mark leads a team implementing Manufacturing Software Globally for a Fortune 200 Company. Sounds like I need to get in touch with Dan (dmac) for some guidance!

This could go in "Now let's see you"

My actual title would be something like Control System Software Engineer, but here's what I work on.

You mean you're not all millionaires?! Page and I are not so different after all.

I'm an accountant (spec in IT audit) and Page is a crackerjack programmer analyst. We are both retiring next month, though young, because where we are and what we are doing is not worth it any more.

We are going to put some road dust on the hardware.

My degree is in architecture, however I manage an industrial business park, a housing development, a construction company and two property owners' associations. When I grow up I just want to drive around with my Airstream.
