I am a stay-at-home-mom to three lovely children!... who now point out every Airstream they see on the road. It seems my addiction is not a secret!

Parallel Careers

Deputy Sheriff for 26 years
Air Force active duty for 4 years, Air Force Reserve for 23 more and still going. I'm a Boom Operator on a KC135 in-flight refueling tanker.

I going to retire from the Sheriff's Dept in a few more years....I'm gonna stay in the Air Force Reserve as long as they'll have me...it's still too much fun!!

Besides, I'm buying a new (new to me '05) 30' Classic and I gotta pay for it!

Mike

There I was retired or so I thought but a chaplain never really retires. Young couples wanting to get married are finding me. Sadly many established churches have established harsh rules which restrict who can and can not be married within their walls and by their clergy. I on the other hand am more open and welcoming and thrilled that these young couples want a wedding that acknowledges God and their spiritual side.
This is a happy change for me since as a chaplain for a children's hospital I officiated at many sad funerals. Now I can officiate at happy events which mark a new beginning.

I am currently a contract work inspector for a large phone company. I have worked here 37 years and am a couple of years from retirement. My job titles over the years have been splicer, lineman and my current position.

I'm an audio/video producer who started as a fine arts major and spent time as an ad agency production manager and recording studio owner along the way.

I wanted an Airstream in 1974 and I finally scored aluminum this year!

My wife Steffi is a nurse assistant in my stepfathers Dialyse Clinic, but gets more and more into accounting, controlling etc. Well paid and safe job! She was into Consulting and before that into constructional drawing and before that into Restaurations and at the Federal Police... She switched jobs very often...

I had a contemporary Design furniture shop until 3 years ago, after that I worked for an Aspen, Co. based Skitour Operator... Now I am the sales rep for a danish manufacturer of furniture fabrics and curtains in our beautyful Capitol Berlin. Actually the job starts on Monday... Hope to get old there...

I guess I'll never retire

I spent my working career as an architect. I still do a little of it once in a while. Now we're an ASI distributer selling promotional products and custom embroidery. Quite a switch.

What !?!?! No jokes? I'm disappointed. Maybe everyone already knows what Six Sigma is.

I'd assume you're referring to statistical analysis used a lot in inspection and prediction in manufacturing?

To answer the original question of the post. I'm an engineer and work for a family owned company. We mainly do contract design and manufacturing for medical companies. Mainly focused on orthoscopic, dental, cosmetic and optomotrist instruments.
My wife, who is a much harder worker than I is a stay at home mom with our new daughter and pregnant with another on the way.
