One other thing..

it's been very helpful to me to learn all of these things about each other.. but does anyone have any tips for recognizing each other at Rallies??

I am really NOT that great at remembering names, and my husband doesn't even read the computer.

Pretty interesting bunch of folks here!!
I'm a carpenter - self employed.
I build and rebuild bathrooms for a living. I tear them out, upgrade all the electrics and plumbing, sheetrock them and then tile them. I must be approaching a hundred bathrooms in my career now. I do a couple of kitchens a year and will finish basements too. But mostly it's bathrooms.
Folks sometimes ask how I got into that line of work. I just tell them that if you have a crappy disposition you get relegated to the bathroom...

Funny you should mention this. Doug doesn't follow the forum like I do. He asked if he could have a cheat sheet for our first rally so he would know who's who. I'm wondering what I would put in the cheat sheet for some of our New England forum members.

Well, we could get some kind of sticker, or decal, to put on our trailers, so everyone else could find us...Umm, let's not go there again...

If other forum members have attended a rally that I have attended (FL state, Region 3 last year as well as international last year) They will likely be wearing a round button that has a graphic and say airstreamforums member and the rally title.

I see many members sometimes wearing two or three.

I'm a teaching fellow, a fancy term for a Ph.D. student who teaches for peanuts while trying to complete my degree. It takes a lot of peanuts to buy the gas to go on my a/s trips, if you know what I mean.
