Question Geo Huh??

I give up... I've thought much of weekend trying to figure out what is Geocaching, and what to do with the ten you claim to have found? I haven't even figured out enough to ask the next question if this were a What's My Line contest...

>> And note to Flyfishr: I believe we were backed into same space at that same KOA on Yellowstone River south of Livingston during our trip home from Rockies and Oshkosh.. Twenty feet to the river, splashing of fish jumping out for flies and driftboats nearly kept us up past bedtime... That's one location we marked in log as needing to get back to...

Geocaching is a treasure hunt game done with a handheld GPS unit. The link Sheri posted above will show you where caches are located in your area. Then you get a handheld GPS and hunt them down. When you find them you usually sign the log and exchange trinkets with one found in the cache. Sounds simple, but it's really lots of fun. It has helped us discover a lot of hikes, parks, bicycling opportunities we didn't know about. And they're all over the country, so you can do them on the road too. It's a great excuse to get out and explore.
