We wanted an AS for over twenty years of camping with sobs. Not because we knew anything about them, we just loved the way they looked. We visited the dealership, came away with sticker shock, but still wanted one. And finally, about a year out from retirement, we pulled the trigger. Then I found this site.

My son bought the AS second hand, after the original owners got a case of 'two-foot itis '. Didn't find the site until long after. Now we (parents) are the holding company for the family AS at the moment.

Yes, I participated on the site for (I think) two years, before buying Henri, our '74 31-foot Sovereign Of The Road.

Oh, and a used TV.

No, but it really did help me diagnose and repair the problems with my new 2012 25FB. Not sure what I would have done otherwise. Had I known about the site beforehand would probably not have bought at least not new.

I never heard of Airforums before I bought the trailer in October 2012.
I found Airforums while searching the Internet to diagnose a problem on the first camping trip on a Saturday afternoon after the dealer service department was closed.

Our Classic 30 is now three weeks old. Four weeks if you count the week in transit. My forum membership and first time visit was today. The forum had no bearing on my decision to buy Airstream.

Growing up my friends parents bought an airstream to go RV traveling when the husband retired. It was sweet.

Years ago I was on my way to work along a particularly bad portion of I-95 and there, in the median, was a truck with topper towing an Airstream. Both were upside down. The Airstream was intact. The walls had held up. The hitch stayed hitched. It was as if a big hand had just turned the rig over on it's roofs.

Last year, Trailer life Magazine did an article on the 2017 Classic 30ft. I liked the trailer and the "bells and whistles".

My old Salem Cruise Lite, 27 ft was getting a little worn.

A woman at the show said they bought the 2017, last year, and didn't have any problems with condensation.

That's why we bought Airstream.

I bought my old Airstream and then found the forum. It was helpful to me in dealing with a lot of issues. Its a great resource.
The fact that I am opinionated does not presuppose that I am wrong......

I bought a late model, lightly used, and then found the forum.

We found and purchased our 2014 FC 25 FB Twin from the Classifieds on this site last July.
