Yeah, I still have some left to import for my iPhone and iTunes, my main source if music in my Excella on my old G4. One plus is that I was able to purchase It’s a Beautiful Day’s Choice Quality Stuff/Anytime album from the iTunes store. It has been out of print for many years and was not available on CD. I had a vinyl copy from a garage sale, but last time I moved I left my vinyl by the curb. Just never listened to it anymore, but missed the music.

Jaxon, ditto on the Allman Brothers. In 1973 we had a big New Year’s party. On New Year’s Day we watched the parades with the Allman Brothers cranked up. A marching band actually looks great stepping to Statesboro Blues.

We usually listen to Sirius channels: Bluegrass, 60's Rock, Margaritaville, and Classic Country. When we get of tired listening to Sirius, we have some CD's that we enjoy that we stick in just for the enjoyment. Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakum, and Bill Monroe classics are our favorites. Our favorite CD that we cruise to is Willie Nelson's "Revolutions of Time" with our most favorite song "Nothing I can Do About It Now".

Somehow skipped over Pure Prairie League. “Bustin’ Out” is good, includes “Amy” their breakout (or Bustin’ Out) hit. My favorite is “Two Lane Highway”, the title track of, what I think is their best album. Just bought it again on iTunes. My last copy was on vinyl. My ex and I went into a high-end audio store in Amarillo in the ’70s and the salesman put “Two Lane Highway” on to demonstrate the (over priced) turntable we were looking at. We left and walked next door and bought the album instead. “Two Lane Highway” is still a great example of what a great band sounds like when things are really working.

More, New Old TRaveling Music

I stumbled over a CD called Burning for Buddy. Very cool traveling tunes.. It is Buddy Rich favorites played by the best drummers around.

Can't believe no one else listens to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street
Band: Born To Run, Thunder Road, they've got more road/car songs than anyone!
