State Seal Decal

The Safari I just got had a state seal decal by the front door. It's all faded now but I was interested to see if this was a trend in days gone by. Dose anyone out there display thier state seal? I think it is a great way to let people know where you are from. If I can find a NC state seal decal about 12 inches in diamiter I will put one on the Excella.

Hi Ramp,
My 1981 had one on it at some time in it's life. I have never seen them for sale, only on government vehicles I have been told by several misinformed individuals that my Airstream must have been owned by the state at some point in time. I know otherwise, because I have documentation of all 3 owners.

Here is a Link to the original thread and the number 3 owner. I currently own this particular trailer. It is in storage until I finish my 1975...actually it is the storage, for the interior parts of my 1975

NC State Seal

Ramp,

Once we get past Hurricane Gustav, and providing we still have a home, I can email you an electronic version of the State Seal. Shop around for a local print shop that can print it to size, and find out what format they need (probably a .jpg or .png). See me a PM, if you're interested.

My 1968 Overlander has the ghost of a Ohio state seal on the door. Thank you for the lead with this thread. I was trying to figure out what the bid ghost was...
Now what to cover it with...... I am not a big fan of the Illinois state seal.

I remember that many WBCC members put large State Seals on their trailers in the late 60's and early 70's.

I think that they were available at Rallies through the Caravan Store.

Maybe someone in Jackson Center can still obtain them.

State Seal Decal

State Seal Vinyl Transfers as well as State Flag Vinyl Transfers are available from several sources -- a Google search will turn up a tremendous variety. The greatest variety of sizes seems to be available from a Yahoo Vendor through ArmyDecals.com.

Airstream One has my logo on each front quarter panel. I had Quickstickers.com do the work and they are excellent. Different sizes and of course anything custom from your artwork is possible.
