The trees are budding out in the yard, it's going to be 70+ today. Remember it snowed 5 inches last Thursday. The Spring bulbs are up and blooming, the wind is blowing 40+MPH, AH! Spring in Oklahoma. Guess I'll go in to town and look for baskets for the overhead bins in the Argosy. Way too windy to go pull the "new" 58 Overlander home. OH MY I'm a RIVET MASTER NOW!!!!!!

Days are warming up more than forecast. As Martha says, that's a good thing. Yesterday, went to Runge Conservation Center, purchased about 3 flats of assorted wild plants, including cardinal flower, blue flags, and other marginals for our pond edge. Looking for Winterberries and redbuds (will dig these up from Mom's place) to plant on far side of pond for winter reflection. It's funny how a gardener plants a twig but sees a full grown shrub or tree. Max is working on replacement of the rear storage latch for Gypsy. This broke last fall and we've had it propped shut with a 2 X 4-shame on us. I"m still skittering around the falling headliner issue. Problem is, neither of us is good working over our heads anymore. We need a skilled young something No, Tin Hut, not "her!" ~G Oh, also talked to one of our daughters who spent a chilly spring break at Bennett Springs SP trout fishing-can't hold back Spring around here!

Ran down to my local RV store and purchased the Olympian Wave3 heater. He always has them on sale at the end of winter and I was lucky! Got a good deal.

I think I sort of exploded the pilot tube last winter when I was living in the trailer. So now I'll have it handy when I remodel that area of the trailer.

In a way I hate to do it. It is the only thing left that is original. But EVERYONE keeps telling me that a 45 year old heater is a danger.

Janet, my mouth is watering. Makes me want to join you all on your rally.

Only if you cook it, but then it just winds up tasting like fish

Spring? Whats Spring?

Spring is scheduled for a Tuesday this year...but not until May.
Haven't seen a day above freezing since September.

We fired up the dually and "went South" a whole 35 miles today to Augusta, Me. That diesel sure sounded and smelled sweet after a long winter in the garage! It looks like our overnight freezes are gone for the next week or so with nothing but Spring weather in the forecast. If we make it to April without any more snow I think we've got it made - and, I don't want any old Mainers reminding me that it can snow in July!!!
