Because the Safari is packed and ready to head to Big Sur tomorrow. Ahhh...to relax in the AS and enjoy the beautiful California coast!
Boy...Big Sur sounds a bit nicer than where I'll be Airstreaming this weekend. I have the tradewind packed and ready to go camping in the Bronx this weekend.
Yup - MetroNY Unit is hosting a Rally at Ft Schuyler which is situated under the Throgs Neck bridge on the banks of the East River.
Boondocking in the Bronx...BRING IT Bi&CH! sorry - just warming up and practicing a little Bronx attitude here.
... I spent some time getting to know the Ambassador and was surprised what I found. And just maybe I will be able to sneak out and get a little work done on it this weekend. Com-on its Fathers Day for cryin-out-loud. The other list can wait.(I hope)

Well that sounds really interesting! Yoose guys have fun!
Because we haven't seen any new trailer woes, and are geared up for a trip to the Gulf Coast for seafood, beach-combing, and sitting happy under a Zip-Dee.

Just curious, where do you guys stay at when you go to the coast? Do you go down to Corpus Christi? Where do you stay when there?

Tom (& Minnie) there are several fine choices near Port Aransas, just across the bay from Corpus on Mustang Island. Nice little fishing town, and all up and down Hwy 361 are RV parks and a State Park campground. No matter where you stay, you're just across the boardwalk from the beach. It reminds us a lot of the Outer Banks of the Carolinas. Great seafood restaurants, of course.
We stayed at Pioneer RV Beach Resort. Nice place, reasonable rates. Pretty busy this weekend with families on summer vacation, but just over the dunes was lots of room for enjoying the beach.
I hope you get a chance to check it out!

It is Thursday... and our sweet Bambi is waiting for the next adventure, ready to go! And, a BIG moment... the frame for the Flying Cloud is now in the garage waiting to be worked on! Yippie!

Once again I'm a day late, but I still love my Airstream. This weekend she will give us some much needed "Changes in Latitudes"! We are going down to my mom's tonight and pick up the "Changes" in the morning and head to a new campground in the area. Just for a change in scenery. My mom will join us so that will be nice.
Anyway, we are going camping! We just went camping over the Memorial Day Weekend but I have had itchy feet since. Reading the camping blogs here on the airforums.com has just intensified the feeling and tonight we leave for a three day weekend of camping in Central Florida.
Next weekend we will again make "Changes in Latitudes" again when we go to Fort Wilderness at Disney World for a week for the July 4th holiday. But this weekend will be regular camping.

All packed up for a few days at an agility trial with Luke. Just a couple of hours away, but it'll be my first time out this season (seeing as how I bailed out on going to Cape cod with Sam a few weeks ago).
It is Thursday and I my sweet Bambi! Been packing stuff for the Airport Rally at Vernonia, Oregon today!
Always a pleasure to have rally "season" be here and get to meet up with great folks and enjoy great food!
I hope all the Airstreamers get to be in their Airstreams for the 4th of July! What a great way to celebrate! Happy Fourth everyone!

We couldnt get to the Rally in NH over the 4th but will be up in the Adirondacks for the weekend, lets all raise our glass's around the campfire and wish Wally a HAPPY BIRTHDAY
It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because tomorrow night I will load the golf cart in the back of the truck and load the family and other necessities for a week's vacation and on Saturday head to central Florida for a rendez vous with our "Changes in Latitudes" for a week at our favorite campground, Ft. Wilderness. Then we will bring her back for the rest of the season so we can spend some weekend trips and a couple of rallies before the end of the year.
Happy 4th everyone!
