it's thursday and i like my airstream because.........
of the way the front sofa functions.....
first off it's pretty darn comfortable as a sofa....not too firm, not too saggy.....just right.
next it's the best sofa bed i've sleep on...firm, soft, no lumps or metal thingies....
and it opens/folds pretty smoothly with a durable mechanical feel...it should last.....
then there is that end storage under the arms, and behind the back.
also the drawers down under come in handy.....and the foot lockers over head hold a lot.

it's the perfect place for guests as long as they dont' mind sharing with the pooch.........

so what's your thusday reason?

cheers

Front sofa

I goofed on my recently posted note note. I meant to quote what was ultimately sent as the note (with my apologies to the original poster, 2Arishuman), but failed to add a comment that this poster must have a sofa that is significantly different from mine. Ours is very uncomfortable to sit on, and sleeps terribly. We bought a double size blow up bed to put on top of it for anyone wanting to sleep there.

Maybe they upgraded sofas since 1986. We really like our '86 34 foot Limited, but the sofa is not on the list of reasons why. Expecially if it was Thursday and I had been sleeping on it all week.

hi lee

i do think there is some variation in the sofas.....

i could be wrong but it seems that with the ultraleather (fancy vinyl) option the sofa is thicker.....

seems to have softer cushion or more stuffing....not unlike me....

i agree in my old moho the sofa was very firm....

cheers
2air'

so tell us a reason why you like the trailer.......just anything.

it's thursday and i like my airstream because.........

windows........

i like the windows......

i like looking out the windows.......

& it's hard for others to look in the windows....

i like the vista views, full wrap and tinted windows.......

i like that there are sooooooooooooooooo many windows.......

and that traveling with the airstream opens all sorts of windows........

and i really like airstream windows over microsoft windows......

maybe airstream could help microsoft with windows.....

nahh, they should just keep adding windows.....

i even like washing the windows......

cheers
2air'

so why do you like your airstream this thursday?

I love my Airstream because it is a quiet haven in the back of our property. Nestled away for the rainy winter season in it's cocoon I can slip out there away from everything, put on some soft music, and comfortably read a book and snooze and heal. My little old kitty is often in attendance and she really enjoys these quiet lap times. There is just something very settling to be inside a warm Airstream while rain hits the storage surround roof that gives off a similar sound to rain on the outside of the trailer - it's like a message to stay inside and enjoy the comforts.

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because...

having it in our driveway has actually brought us closer to our neighbors (I know we're lucky - this isn't always the case). People who we hadn't met before started coming over, wanting to see our progress, asking lots of questions, and remarking on how cool it was to have one on our street. Now we have two on our street (Boris is parked in our neighbor's driveway) and still no complaints. Cool!

because when I leave my house (which is where my tools live), I'm still always home.

If I look in the rear view mirror and one of my shiny domes isn't there, ack, panic attack. It's hard to drive to town for a sheet of plywood.

And I love my Airstreams because at least one is always ready to go and the other(s) provide hours of pleasant work and designs to think about when you wake in the night and have been told "don't be gettin' up every durn night [you old coot]"...

It's Thursday and I love ALL Airstreams. We sold our dear Safari on Monday so we can get a new Airstream before summer. Now I'm going through withdrawal -- shaking, delirium, and the like. We need to find a new one soon and so now I'm going through all the brochures, the web galleries, the specs. How will we ever decide? I love them all!! HELP!

It's Thursday, and I like my Airstream:

Because 12 days we will have our maiden voyage, the front part is finished new cushions, and the way he looks at me with his cooool sunglasses on.

evening all

well today i like the door........
it's not like other trailer doors......
because someone built it just more me.....
ideally it would fit my trailer like a glove....
and when closed suck down tight like tupperware....

but the fact is, it doesn't fit perfectly.....
because it was built just for me.....
i've had it a adjusted a time or two.....
so it closes easier and is a little more true.....
still i know it'a a little loose......

did i mentioned it was built like like me ?

cheers
