It's Thursday and time to wish happy trails to all of you heading out west to Salem and the WBXYZ! Why do we love our Airstreams? Just because. . .and that's reason enough

Go, Mizzou...Tigers on the prowl!
it's thursday and i like my airstream because.......
well it sort of slipped up on me too.....
i'm at the international now in salem and
having been on the road for many days.....
i haven't looked at a calendar....
what day is it? has been my 2nd question after
where am i? and followed by,
what time zone am i in?
so i like my airstream because she has been the constant during travel...
all the dirt is just where i left it...
the dog bowl doesn't spill during 400+miles in mountains...
or the coffee pot....i forgot to secure....
the beer is cold and the water is hot.....
and today especially.....
the air conditioning is working great...
it is hot here and dusty and dirty...
more on the wb international later...
maybe a thread?
cheers

Because it's Thursday and my Airstream brought me to this great forum for all the info I need to help him get back to new shape. Ask and you shall find the answer plus a lot of great cyber space friends.

I love my Airstream because tomorrow I'll pick her up at storage and head out Sat morning for 4 Nights in the Mountains. This will be our longest stay in the AS and I can't wait. We'll do some trout fishing, some hiking and some bird watching and beer drinking (in no particular order) I always do a big feast on the 4th of July. So I'm really looking forward to cooking it up in the AS.. I don't know about the rest of you, but I love cooking in the AS the kitchen set up is just right. I'm making Pork Ribs with a Tamarind Recado and a Dry Chipotle Rub some Black Beans with Fried Plantains. Corn on the cob... got to have corn it’s the 4th of July, Watermelon. And more beer . I'm bringing the Smoker so I can slow cook the ribs for 6-7 hours.. ummmm getting hungry just thinking about it.
Safe travels to all,
AZstreamin
I love my Airstream because early Saturday morning we head to Ft. Wilderness Campground at Walt Disney World for the 4th of July week end. This, too, will be our longest stay in the "Changes" and will be our first time at Ft. Wilderness. I hope our luck is better than the last two outings! I'll keep a look-out for guard rails and deer!

Well, here we are again another thursday......And I like my
Airstream even more than last Thursday because she has her new WBCCI numbers, and Decals installed. She's been ours since first of the year, but now she really is ours and she seems even more beautiful...Ready for the road....
Because the Airstream renovation project is nearly complete! Gotta finish polishing a little more on the outside tomorrow after work and I'll FINALLY get to go camping and ENJOY it instead of working on the thing all weekend. (well, I might fool around with a few little oddball things that need finished, but if I don't, no big deal - they can wait) --dave
..because the refrigerator is chilling Chardonnay as we speak, the curtains are finished, and the upholstery is well on it's way, since we're going out camping tomorrow for the 4th of July weekend. Oh yes, baby! This time with cushions and curtains..and a 3/4 finished polish job. No, I am not bringing the Cyclo. Will fight OC traffic to get there, but it's well worth it to us.
Will be at Tucalota Springs for 3 nights. Tucalota Springs is surronded by Temecula's vinyards. Stop by for a chat if you're in the area.
Because it had the good manners not to trip me as I walked past this morning and say... " so Janet, how come we're not going anywhere this week end - huh?. I need to stretch a bit and feel the pine needles under my tires. Isn't it time we had a little advenure?
My Argosy is WAAY too polite!
