Because I have one. I mean, what is not to love? Coolness speaks for itself.

hi all

it's thursday and i like my airstream because.....

even from a distance she is pretty easy to spot out on the rolling plains.....

about a mile from camp and while riding,
i saw this flash of light in the corner of my eye
like a hiker using a mirror
to reflect the sun
but this wasn't a distress signal at all....

stopped and this is what i found....

cheers

the floor is out.

I like my Airstream because the floor is now completely out and the frame is in OK shape, no welding needed.

It works as a guest cottage when we're at home..

Just said goodbye to cousins from upstate NY, visiting LA and SFO. Children came home to see them as well. The Airstream serves as guest bedroom, and held overflow casserole dishes in refrigerator along with salad and dessert and half case of beverages that wouldn't fit in house refrigerator. Nice to have trailer 5' from house with power and water hookups!

With the prices of real estate around here, it's also nice to utilize your drivway as liveable space/guest house.

Oh wait...don't tell my inlaws we have a trailer!!

Overexposed -- relying on an averaging meter. Underexpose by 1 to 1.5 stops in this situation. Bracket.

Smile Its Thursday and I like the Airstream because...

It has taken us camping to Lakes Huron and Michigan this year. First to Harrisville State Park, then (2nd photo facing out from trailer to beach) to Wilderness State Park, both beach front sites! We love playing in the water and listening to the waves all day/night.

Nice shiny conestoga on the plains 2air!

hi canoe stream.....
i'm not sure the human eye can be bracketed....at least not manually...
fact is the camera sensor couldn't capture the full impact....
it was blinding bright throught the binoculars and the slr......
like a giant mirror'd wall of white light......

park ranger came by the next day and joked my trailer might start a brushfire.....
if it hadn't just rained.....

tin sista......
the beach front campsites look very inviting......
now that it has thawed!
i want to get back to your region in the early fall this year...

cheers

Some truth. Some but... Guess we'd have to know our final purpose and how much we'd be cropping. Just envious of somebody on the road... Quite a few of us will be liking Thursdays a whole lot better as we head to the Midwest Rally next week!

It's STILL Thursday and I like my Airstream because...

....we used her to her full potential last week...we finally broke in the wetbath! Coming from a pop up, we have always used the bath houses-which I usually didn't mind at all. But this trip (6 whole nights) was a lot more humid and we decided to try it. It was wonderful!! We have to learn now what to do to minimize all the "moving" of stuff OUT of the wetbath. We had a bath rug in there, a trashcan, all of our toothbrushes, etc. and we had to move everthing each time-there are five of us! But none the less, we really were thrilled to be using OUR shower! Oh, full hookups were nice, too!
