Forgot about this.......!

Did pick up a set of Flaminoges patio lights that I am sure will look great but then there is the SMALL issue of getting them mounted (not tried yet) and being sure that there is enough to make the billing live up to the advertisement!

I mean, we AS's don't just walk around the place for kicks and gigles, we WENT/DEMAND to know who else id smart enough to get an AS, THen if there is time, and they are willing, we can check it out - DIVERSITY RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it all as it gives me ideas for the next few years!

We have 2 plastic flamingos and 2 new light up flamingos which look great at night when it gets dark. We purchased the light up flamingos at BJ's, but have also seen them at the Christmas tree shop.

The best part is, we bought out all the light up flamingos and took them to a rally and sold them to members, so......now several members in our New England Unit own a bird. You should have seen the look on other customer faces when we strolled out of the store with all the flamingos. They couldn't resist to ask us what we were doing with so many light up birds.

Of course I had to tell them, it's an AS thing!

4 plastic & 2 lighted pink flamingos

And I got one of the lighted ones from Gail!

And I just purchased two flamingo ice sets (plastic ice cubes). So that's another 60 mini flamingos.

I just got a Great metal flamingo 3' high with a flowered sunshade, and shorts, binoculars around his neck, and a birding book under his wing! I LOVE it !!! he makes me laugh. They had other original flamingos at Hot Springs, Ark stores. Also got a TX A&M flamingo with a metal bending neck at the wild bird store in Denton, TX. They have other universities painted in the appropriate colors. Also Target went all out on flamingo themed things which are now on sale! I'm using the cotton shower curtain to make curtains for the "bedroom "windows. silver suz.

Pink Flamingos

We have 2 yard flamingos and a string of palm tree and flamingo lights for the awning. I must say that the 'yard' flamingos sort of freak out the other Rv'rs at the state parks here in Texas. LOL.

We have (grudgingly on my part) a solitary flamingo. It is made from bent wire, and painted pink, and is designed to be shoved feet-first into the ground. I hadn't seen one like it before we were given it, and I haven't seen one since. Other than ours.

We also have 2 plastic lawn Flamingos. They seem to be nesting under the rear bed most of the time.

2 flamingos

The Neumanns just gave everyone at the Otisville rally a brand-new flamingo! We love ours. Thank you Andy and Claudia.

We also have a lighted flamingo that goes with us.

One window sticker flamingo (simulated etched glass). Party lights (although the nash/airstream party lights get more awning time). Three yard ornaments, and a motion sensitive flamingo that sings "feeling hot hot hot" when you walk by it.

We have 2 vintage concrete flamingos that are 1950 originals. They stand on rebar legs. They stay firmly planted in our back yard. I'm afraid that they would walk off (with a little help) at a campsite.

Much to my husband's alarm, the very first thing I bought the day after we brought our AS home were 2 pink flamingoes and stuck them right in front of the trailer.
If we were gonna have a trailer in our yard (along with 18 boats, 13 cars, and all sorts of other stuff too!) then I wanted to make sure it was done *right* ! I think they must be the only pink flamingoes in the entire county. They were certainly hard enough to find within a 50 mile radius.

First "Official" flamingo purchase...

I bought my first flamingo for the Airstream today....I work for an artist and I've been eyeing several of her flamingo paintings since I started working for her....and I finally bought one today specifically for the Airstream. Really cute and I will be hanging it from underneath our "name" sign-can't wait!
